Fantastic four-bedroom detached family home in a popular road in Addlestone. The paved driveway with electric vehicle charging point provides off-road parking for multiple vehicles and the large rear garden can be accessed via side gates, between which there is storage for wood and bins.
This charming period property, designed with meticulous attention to detail, offers flexible, semi open-plan family living. The lounge, with wooden flooring and multi-fuel log burning stove with oak mantel, leads to a good-sized dining area and spacious kitchen with tiled flooring, white units, integrated appliances including two full ovens, hob, and microwave; there is plumbing for a washing machine and dishwasher, a butler sink with integrated Brita filter tap and Insinkerator food waste disposal, and solid oak worktops. A separate reception room with wooden flooring and bay windows and a beautiful and spacious conservatory with laminate flooring completes the downstairs accommodation.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated with carpeted flooring. The family bathroom has a white suite with large corner bath in a traditional style with a modern twist. There is also a second shower room with natural coloured wall tiles and a white suite.
Outside, the property boasts a wonderful size mature garden with established rose bushes, apple tree, and raised vegetable beds. A cosy patio area and purpose-built garden room with power and light provide space to allow year-round enjoyment.
Seller's Insight
The decade we have spent living on Liberty Lane has been wonderfully supported by the flexibility of our home. The downstairs layout provides multiple configuration options, allowing us to repurpose the rooms as our family grew and our needs changed. The semi open plan living space is wonderfully practical with small children, as is having a more private reception room at the front; this room has been a lounge, dining area, and is now a generously sized home office.
Over the years here we have updated and improved almost every room, including the kitchen and both bathrooms. When doing so we have paid attention to the little details that make family life run more smoothly, such as adding a filter tap and food waste disposal to the kitchen sink, and choosing a large corner bath and wide sink with plenty of counter space in the family bathroom. We added the conservatory in 2016, opting for top hung windows, automatic roof vents, and underfloor heating to make it a space we can enjoy year-round. We laid the patio ourselves, creating a cosy entertaining space to BBQ with friends and family; the garden room has power and light and has served us well as a shared workshop and potting shed, but would equally make an excellent bar, games room, summer house, or studio space. The apple tree gives a reliable bounty of cooking apples every year and the raised beds, one of which is currently planted with 8 strawberry plants, are perfect for growing your own.
The off-road parking at the front of the house is particularly practical, allowing two cars to park easily without blocking the other's access to the road. We have added an electric vehicle charging point in a discrete and easily accessible spot. Joining the front and back outside spaces is a useful side alley with a gate at either end, perfect for storing the bins, logs for the fire, and anything else you might want to keep out of sight.
